The K-Tek Stingray Audio Bag For Sound Devices 633 and Zaxcom MAXX is designed for audio recording in the field. The bag features a rigid internal frame that enables the bag to stand up on its own and protect the electronics within. The front of the bag features a rigid exterior frame that enables the user to mount wireless receiver pouches or a battery distribution box.
The bag opens up completely on both sides to allow easy access to the side panels of the recorders. A set of six sippers on each side make it possible to keep the side panels closed while still being able to plug-in cables. The bottom of the bag also opens to enable access to the rear of the devices. This makes it possible to connect cables from external wireless receivers and a battery distribution system. A removable clear cover on the top allows the operator to view the display while recording. For carrying, the bag includes two retractable handles and a shoulder strap.
The bag has a concave shape to leave a small gap between it and the operator’s body which makes it more comfortable to wear. The two side pouches include loops for storing receiver antennas, batteries, and small multi-tools. An elastic loop on the inside of the bag is designed to hold an NP-1 battery with battery cup to operate a battery distribution system.
